How to Make the More Tequila, Less Stress

Don't worry you don't have to be a cocktail connoisseur to make this drink, we perfectly laid out all the steps to make this cocktail easy on you. This recipe only serves one, so if you're serving multiple guests multiply each ingredient serving by the number of party people you're vibin' with.

First, we'll prepare our limes. Take out your cutting board and knife to cut your lime in half down the center. With one half of the lime, juice the contents out into a glass. It’s easier if you have a citrus juicer but you also can stick the lime in a large cup and push your muddler into the center to twist the juice out.

With the other half of the lime, cut into thin round slices for your garnish and set aside for later.

Seriously, don't lose them…

If you’re feeling extra, you can always rim your glasses with a bit of salt beforehand. Simply run a lime around the rim of the glass and dip on a small plate with your salt laid out. I recommend doing this to assert your dominance as the cocktail king around your friends.

This makes for a great touch on this cocktail!

You can always switch the salt rim out with sugar if you don’t have any taste or class.

Next, we’re getting to the good stuff. Use your jigger to measure out and combine ½ oz tequila, 1 oz grapefruit juice, ½ oz fresh lime juice (this is approximately half a lime), and ½ oz agave nectar into a cocktail shaker with ice.

Shake it like a polaroid picture and strain into your salt glass with that artistic flick of the wrist.

Over ice of course, we're not animals...

We’re skipping the champagne floaters this year and adding a splash of Pink Paloma Chido to top it off! This adds the perfect amount of fizz to balance out this perfectly crafted cocktail from the Tequila God’s.

Lastly, we’ll garnish our beverage with a thin slice of the leftover lime because we’re fancy like that.

Now you have yourself a More Tequila, Less Stress that should look something like this! Isn't she a beauty. Now that your hard work is done, feel free to sit back and sip in the positive vibes that come with drinking this cocktail. Just make sure to drink responsibly, we know it's that good.

We’re naming More Tequila, Less Stress the Cocktail of the year simply because we can, or at least until we can come up with another genius idea. Give it a try and let us know what you think, and don't stress there will be plenty more recipes to come this year!
